A new movement has begun to spread throughout the nightlife scene in AZ and at the Wheel is LVMH's Quinton "Q" Ward. Ward has been spearheading the Hennessy Black Influence in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Hennessy Black is the new Ultra-Premium Cognac that is breaking Hennessy into the bottle service arena.

Q and his team have been sponsoring and hosting parties and events at all the Valley's hottest venues, including PHX, Stoudemire's, and The new W Hotel Scottsdale. The events are not going unnoticed with local and national celebrities making appearances e.g. Memphis Bleek, Fabolous, DMX, Amare Stoudemire, various NFL Players and more.

I loved this book as a kid, I might need to actually go out and buy it strictly for nostalgic value lol...anyways Director Spike Jonze is adapting Maurice Sendak's Children's Book into a live action motion picture. If you know Spike Jonze's work you should already know that this is gonna be crazy! Jonze has directed videos for Fat Boy Slim, The Beastie Boys, Ludacris, and Kanye West (*Remember that Flashing Lights video?!). Take a look at some of the early pictures coming from the set. The movies is expected to be released sometime this year.

Here is my list of essential items for 2009. These things will help you make it from point A to point B and stay fresh the whole way. I am doing my part in trying to revive a struggling economy by making purchases, are you? lol (That's what I tell myself when I buy things when I know I probably shouldn't but hey, Whatever helps me sleep at night! LOL).

1. RIM Blackberry BOLD 9000 AT&T:
This thing pretty much controls my life. I can't last a day without this thing on my hip. Def lived up to the "crackberry" term. The Bold keeps me connected even if sometimes I don't wan't to be, with internet access, a ridiculously clear screen, and 3G speeds it's hard to put the phone down.

2. Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Keepall:
According to Esquire Magazine (which I am an avid reader), All men should have a reliable overnight bag, for those last minute trips to Vegas or Cali or you're heading out to the Hamptons for the weekend. You can't travel with the same bag you take to the gym. Step your luggage game up with Louis Vuitton's more masculine Damier Graphite Collection.

3. Hanes V-Necks:
Need I same more lol...These are a staple in my personal wardrobe. You really can't go wrong with a fresh V-neck. I probably go through several packs of these a month Lol.

4. New Apple MacBook Pro:
I was a PC loyal for a very long time, but after the many preachings of Steve Jobs I have finally been converted. This thing has way to many features to begin to mention and is light which makes it perfect for traveling.

5. Beats by Dre Headphones:
If you have seen any music video is the past 2-3 months you have more than likely seen a pair of these mug headphones designed by Doc Dre. Produced my Monster these headphones are supposed to let you hear the music the way it was orignally intended to, So every instument, sample, drum pattern, bassline is gonna be present when using these. The only drawback the steep price tag. For these I think imma need to find a hook-up at Best Buy and get that homie discount lol.

5. The North Face Backpack:
Living in NYC you carry alot of random items with you (i.e. Umbrella, comfortable shoes, Change of clothes, Ipod) you get the picture. So a good backpack is key, The North Face is definitely the brand to check out when looking for a sturdy, reliable bag.

6. Nikon D40 Digital SLR Camera:
This thing just keeps poppin up on this blog huh? lol That's cause it's been on my wishlist for a minute. But I have decided to break down and finally cop, I've been wanting a digital camera, at first I was going to go with a normal point and shoot, but me being the extra-ass person I am decided to step it up and go with the SLR.

My next major purchase is definitely gonna be a digital slr camera, I'm thinking the Nikon D40...It's a great camera and good for a novice like myself to get my paparrazi steez right. Janelle has a sound that cannot really be described and a swagger that has to be witnessed to understand....but her live show is what she is known for. It's ADWEEK this week in NYC and I got to sample some of the perks of the industry on Monday at the opening shindig, AOL hosted the opening party @ The Nokia Theater in Times Square with live in concert N*E*R*D and Big Boi aka Daddy Fat Sacks aka Sir Lucious Leftfoot...lol. Let me just say this might have been one of the best shows I've been too, and I've been to some major shows....N*E*R*D puts on a crack show and Pharrell is one of the best front men in the biz right now, with Shae backing him up they go hard (no homo lol)...Big Boi is a Hip Hop Icon and he tore down the show performing the classic Kast joints and new cuts he has one the way...ya'll know "Royal Flush" if you don't smack yourself and go seek it out....Oh ya and did I mention open bar ALL NIGHT...Industry Life Is a Blessing.

Like Young Jeezy says in his new album "Its a Recession...Everybody Broke!!" That seems to be the truth when Lehman Brothers the 4th largest investment banking institutions in the world files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy...This happening after Merrill Lynch gets bought by Bank of America for a fraction of its actual value...Ken Lewis, B of A's CEO is really trying to play a life size version of Monopoly haha buying up everything.

Had a pretty good weekend this week, hit the city on Saturday and came across a HUGE outdoor farmer's market/festival/ I dont know what to call it lol but they had mad random things out for sale. Made way down to SoHo to hit up the usual spots...I think imma need to head back next weekend saw some things that I need in my life at Supreme....Most random event of the day happend walking on Spring Street heading to Broadway...ran in to John Legend and his smokin' girlfriend, he seems like a real down to earth cat....anyways finished off the day on Canal Street making my Bootleg movie pick-up, I needed to catch up on my theater releases...lol And the digital camera is on the way so I will have some visual...I just need to stop being lazy and make my way to Best Buy.

Decided to cop a couple new magazines on my way home from work today, wasn't the best decision being that I had to go outta my way in Midtown Manhattan during rush hour, But I had to go to one of my favorite news stands on Lexington and 56th, these cats are official ! They carry every magazine and newspaper you can think of. Anyways copped the 15th Anniversary VIBE they got a new one out but this one had a crazy article on Hova, also got the new Esquire wit the newly Injured Reserve Tom Brady. But the main reason I had to stop was for the Infamous new issue of Complex wit Cassie......1 word......Damn, I definitely see where all the hype is comin from. This issue is crack tho, its a double cover wit N*E*R*D with animation by KAWS...
