I've been listening to Janelle Monae for a while now but last Thursday I got the chance to finally see her live show at the Nokia Theater. Janelle has a sound that cannot really be described and a swagger that has to be witnessed to understand....but her live show is what she is known for. I can only call it an experience, she puts so much energy into her performance that you have no choice but to respect her. Check out her myspace page here
